406 – 478 – 2356

The reason I am starting this blog is because of the phone number above me. It is a telemarketer, clearly from another country trying to sell me drugs (diabetic, Viagra, etc.). I am going to use this blog as a journal of my experiences with this number.

I will  start with the fact that I have received these calls for about two months, at least one call a day. Since then I have added my number to the do not call list, asked the telemarketers kindly to stop calling me and filed a complaint with the donotcall.gov about this number, and yet no stop yet of the calls. I am going to try to answer as often as possible and give these guys the run around in any way that i can, just for fun.

If you have experienced this number or a facsimile of this one, please share your stories as well…

  1. RPM says:

This is a pharmacy in INDIA, calling, spamming to sell you viagra and other drugs. Simply tell them to f off and hang up on them.

    RPM-

Yes I have tired a profanity laced tirade before, but it got me like 19 calls back that evening. It was the opposite of what I was trying to do.

Here’s what I’ve found on the number:
    Database Record For: 406-478-2356
    Caller ID: Montana
Current Telephone Company: Pacific Telecom Communications Group
Original Telephone Company: Cellco Partnership Dba Verizon Wireless – Mt
Original Telephone Company Type: Wireless Carrier
    Estimated City: Sidney
    Estimated Region: Montana
    Estimated Postal Code: 59270
    Equipment Location Code: BLNGMT233MD

Also have you filed a complaint with the Do Not Call registry?

  4. Jason says:

(sorry, ignore my question. I missed where you answered it above)

  5. Isaac says:

I started getting calls from this number today. It now shows up in caller ID as RESET, or at least it did for me.

Here are a few very helpful websites (I am getting 8-10 calls per day- both home and cell)

    https://www.privacyrights.org/fs/fs5-tmkt.htm#part11

    http://www.ucan.org/telecommunications/landline/anti_telemarketing_action_kit

    https://www.donotcall.gov/faq/faqbusiness.aspx#who

the first two have some pretty extensive info on the laws, fines, and definitions pertaining to telemarketing..
I just started filing complaints (this has been going on for about 8 months) I am starting some pretty rigorous documentation as well as asking the questions on the second website.

today I kept “Laura Summer” on the phone for 40 minutes. god it was awesome. what medicine? spell that. what is it for? are you sure it’s safe to take. can i take it with tylenol? spell that again. how much is it? does it include shipping? well xxx has it for much less. what medicine is that again?

please check out the websites- keep us posted. I am thinking about taking legal action (small claims court) once I have enought documentation. The donotcall thing only works if they are checking the registry (I don’t believe they are.)

    Take care & good luck

    Denise-

Thanks a lot, I obviously have been documenting as well. Let continue to fight these guys until they get what they deserve.
